Focus
Mental health is increasingly a focus in schools, families and communities. The workshops offered by Sue are all rooted in her training and background in the mental health field.
Teachers and administrators are frequently in contact with students, parents and other members of the school community who are experiencing high emotion or emotional dsyregulation. When staff learn to navigate these situations effectively, it leads to better learning outcomes, less teacher burnout, and healthier school communities.
The emotional de-escalation workshop may also be particularly helpful for front-line workers to help defuse stressful situations at work. Managers will likewise find this skill helpful to respond effectively to their staff to support productivity, job satisfaction, and retention.
Likewise, parents will find these workshops useful to support their child's mental health and greatly improve communication at home.
