After seven years in opposition in the Alberta Legislature and a 30-year career in media, I have a bit of cynic in me. But when it comes to Sue Huff, the cynicism disappears and all that’s left is optimism.

It is truly my pleasure to offer my endorsement to Sue Huff for MLA of Edmonton-Glenora.

The people of Edmonton-Glenora deserve a great MLA, and Sue simply refuses to settle for anything less than the best in the province and in herself.

As Acting Leader of the Alberta Party Sue set an incredible example. Her ability to understand and respond to questions consistently and coherently revealed a person of both compassion and commitment. Sue has always been a strong advocate for the vulnerable – especially during her time as an Edmonton Public School Board Trustee – and believes that in a province like Alberta everyone should have the chance to succeed.

Sue is the real deal. Her number one goal is to restore democracy to Alberta’s government and create a healthy Legislature where opinions are respected and good ideas used. This is a person that should be in the Legislature, and it’s up to us to make sure she gets there. So let’s do it!
